Team Leader OSS (m/f/d) .

As Team Leader OSS (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the technical management, onboarding and continuous development of your team and ensure a high quality of service.

You will be responsible for the planning, development and optimization of customer systems, actively participate in projects to introduce new solutions and ensure efficient documentation.

By working closely with internal departments such as software development, system architecture and test management as well as external partners, you will drive forward the continuous improvement of the process and system landscape. You will also check and approve work results, manage service providers in sub-projects and take on capacity, deadline and budget planning at team level.

With your in-depth knowledge of IT services, networks, virtualization, Windows/Linux systems and databases, you will optimize operational processes and have a strong solution orientation and hands-on mentality.

If you are a strong leader with good communication skills and experience in IT system development and have a very good command of German and English, we look forward to receiving your application!

Tasks

  • Professional onboarding, further development and training of employees
  • Work in projects for the introduction of new customer systems
  • Planning, construction and further development of customer systems incl. Documentation
  • Design and continuous improvement of the process and system landscape
  • Communication and networking: close cooperation with internal departments (software development, system architecture, quality and test management, etc.) and external partners
  • Checking and releasing work results
  • Capacity planning and schedule and budget control at team level and support with project resource and budget planning
  • Participation in the conception, implementation and controlling of IT standards
  • Use and further development of automation, DevOps and engineering processes
  • Commissioning and management of service providers for the processing of sub-projects
  • Occasional travel
  • Compliance with IT security standards and data protection guidelines

Qualifications

  • Leadership personality with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, service orientation, process optimization, team leadership and internal collaboration
  • Knowledge of networking and virtualization
  • Knowledge of IT service and project management
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux
  • Knowledge of databases
  • Goal-oriented and structured way of working with a high degree of solution orientation and implementation strength as well as hands-on mentality
  • Enjoy optimizing operational processes and have a good understanding of system landscapes
  • Management experience and in working on projects
  • Completed IT technical studies or comparable training with professional experience
  • Strong communication skills and assertiveness
  • Confident demeanor, good people skills and solution-oriented approach
  • Excellent German and very good English skills
  • Experience in IT system development
